Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out what you may not do with DeepCube, its Tessa AI assistant, our websites and our APIs (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone using the Service under your account, and you are responsible for their use.
1. Don't break the law or hurt people
Do not use the Service to:
- break any law or regulation, or help someone else do so;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- harass, threaten, defraud or deceive anyone;
- send spam or unsolicited messages.
2. Don't attack the Service or anyone else
Do not:
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, except as section 3 allows;
- get around the Service's authentication, metering or usage limits;
- access accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to;
- upload malware or anything designed to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorized access;
- overload the Service, including through automated requests beyond what your plan and our documentation allow;
- use the Service to attack, monitor or collect data from systems you do not own or have permission to monitor.
3. Security research is welcome
If you think you have found a security problem, write to security@immersivefusion.com before you test further. If you then test only against your own account, do not access, change or keep other people's data, do not degrade the Service for others, and give us at least 90 days to fix the problem before you disclose it (unless we agree a shorter time), we will not treat your testing as a breach of this policy or of section 2.2 of the Terms of Service, and we will not take legal action against you for it.
4. Send the right data
DeepCube is built for application telemetry. The Service stores telemetry as you send it, so configure your applications not to send data the Service is not designed to protect. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, do not send:
- payment card numbers or bank account credentials;
- government identification numbers (such as Social Security numbers);
- health information covered by HIPAA or similar laws;
- other sensitive data, such as biometric or genetic data, or data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions or sexual orientation;
- passwords, secret keys or authentication tokens in clear text;
- information about anyone under 18.
If any of this reaches the Service by accident, tell us at security@immersivefusion.com. We will tell you what we can remove and when; anything we cannot remove sooner is deleted when your plan's retention period ends, and from backups on their normal cycle.
The Service is not certified for HIPAA, PCI DSS or FedRAMP workloads.
5. Use Tessa responsibly
Do not use Tessa to:
- generate content that is illegal, or that facilitates violence, abuse or self-harm;
- create malware or exploit code aimed at systems you are not authorized to test;
- try to make it reveal its instructions, other users' data, or its providers' confidential information, or to get around its safety measures;
- make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people (such as hiring, credit or housing) without human review.
Do not present Tessa's output as human-written where that would mislead someone who relies on it. Our AI providers' own usage rules, listed with them at AI Subprocessors, also apply.
6. Don't misuse the product itself
Do not resell or share access outside your account, scrape or copy the Service or its content in bulk, or use non-public information from the Service to build or train a competing product or AI model. The Terms of Service also restrict building a competing product.
7. What happens if this policy is broken
We may limit or suspend access, or end your account, as section 9 of the Terms of Service describes. Where we reasonably can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem; we act immediately where there is a risk to security, to other customers or to the law. We may report illegal activity to the authorities. If this policy and the Terms conflict, the Terms apply.
8. Reporting
Report a breach of this policy to legal@immersivefusion.com, or a security issue to security@immersivefusion.com.
We may update this policy; the version number and effective date above show which version applies, and we give notice of material changes as the Terms of Service describe.
